A few Shoes I have my eye on.

First: These and I would say they are my favorite. I feel they would be good for summer wear. The city leaves your feet icky and black if you wear regular sandals.

Belle by Sigerson Morrison Round Toe Cutout Oxfords

PRICE: $220.00

Second: I would say these because they are boring. They resemble dance shoes to much. That is probably why they are called jazz shoes. But something similar would be nice.

Luxury Rebel "Birken" Oxford Jazz Shoes

PRICE: $185.00

Third: We have some Classic crazy Sneeks from Marc by Marc Jacobs. I have some shoes that have a similar style by Marc Jacobs already. It never hurts to have a closet full of amazing shoes.

MARC BY MARC JACOBS High Top Lace-Up Sneakers

PRICE: $195.00

Fourth: We have The Wellie! It rains quite a bit here and I am getting really frustrated with ruining my shoes. The nice part about these is not only am I buying a rain boot but also a Snow boot. What I love is how tall they are. And mighty attractive I might add.

Original Gloss Tall Boot

$115.00

Spring Fever

Wooo! I love spring! Especially after that long frigid New York winter. I slipped on enough ice this last winter. I deserve ditching life for the beach! I want to learn to be a better swimmer. Also, the flowers just kill me. These little puff ball guys are the best. Could some one please identify them for me? I had not seen a flower like this till last year. It must only grow on this side of the U.S. I have not seen them in New Mexico. Although, we do have these crazy indian paintbrush flowers that I doubt I will see here. I feel like the ones that grew by my house in Edgewood were more orange. With longer leaves... Maybe it was a different variation.

In any case. I'm sure there will be more lovely warm weather posts to come!

Also, my Mommy and little brother Ross are coming for a visit. June 9-14th. Wooo wooo!

Psychtrance Party

The morning began with the usual two hours of alarm clocks buzzing in my ear. And Eric squirming with the thought of actually getting out of bed. However, Today was different. He seemed to get up a little easier than usual. The anticipation of the party ahead of us helped the usual routine. It seemed not even the most prepared are ready. I had to head home after work to grab a few left items. We grabbed a quick bite of Falafel at Pita Joes NYC. Hopped on the L train one stop into the BK (Burger King Lounge).Stopped by a coffee shop to get delicious espresso and biscotti. Finally we reached Public Assembly! It was about 6pm in the afternoon. The destination was full of uncompleted art projects and random tasks. Eric and I helped construct a large tent made from pipes and stretchy material. (pictures are to come) We assembled large lanterns and so much more. They all glowed under black light. The night was full of odd and great music. I was experiencing more than I ever had before in the music scene.

Tiny pink stars full of fun, and droplets of yummy goodness. Just when I thought people were being loony I had begun to join them. There were belly dancers, the women spinning themselves in silk, and don't forget the fire poi. Everyone's faces became a blurr, the music started to sound horrible, and I was simply frightened. Then out of no where it was like someone had waved a magic wand over me. Everything had become clear. Not only was it clear it was quite amazing. I saw everyone's shiny happy face, the music sounded like the most beautiful thing in my ear, and I was a peace. Not only peace but utter happiness. This continued for about two hours straight. In the two hours I found a small little island in the floor. The entire floor was cement however, in the corner of the bar I found a small square of wood. The Bass in the music shook the small piece of wood with such power. Imagine your body being vibrated from the inside out. This is what happen when you stood on the tiny platform. Utter bliss... I have no other words.

After the rooms started to clear and we all begun to wind down it was about 5am. I decided it was time to leave. By the time we had said all of our goodbyes it took almost an hour. And there we were out the door. Since we were still a bit wound up we decided to take the scenic route. Up the williamsburg bridge. Down to the LES. We found a scene of a lovely office/Library thrown completely into the street as garbage. Eric and I decided we needed to bring some of the clever looking hard back books home. From there we headed threw China Town. We walked by some Chinese women doing an exercise involving a fan. The most exciting part was when they smacked the fan open and closed. What a sight to see at 6am. Then we impatiently waited outside a Starbucks for our morning espresso. At this point I just needed to get home. So we headed off to the World trade center. Covered in soot from head to toe thanks to the fire poi. We hopped on the train dragging our books and bags. Finally we were home. Time to Recover.

Mallo

Ah! The bowls. The adorable bowls that Eric's Grandmother has at her house. Mallo Ware Melamine cereal bowls. I can't wait to get the matching coffee mugs with the handles. Made in the 60's and still retaining great color. If you would like to eat a bowl of cereal in them just come over. I usually have quite the collection. Well, unless it is the weekend. Eric likes his cereal.

The family experience

I'm putting my makeup on in the bathroom. The light is a horrible florescent. It makes a horrid buzzing noise. My eyes look as if I have not slept in days. Dark dark rings. I start to wonder if they are real. The slight bug-ish buzzing noise that the light is making scares me. It reminds me of those scary movies. The ones where people are in nasty cheap hotels and you can hear the buzzing of light bulbs. I hear those noises. Eric's uncle is asking awkward questions. It smells musky. The food is regular. Nothing great. Nothing bad. His four foot Grandmother is dragging herself around the house. She has a hunchback almost as tall as her head. What an adorable small creature. Feet and face of an elf. Eric's uncle reminds me of the physical traits Robin Williams has in "One hour Photo". He has Big glasses that he is constantly pushing onto his nose. Pants pulled up to his chest. He has a button down shirt tucked into his pants. His hair is parted in the middle and combed onto the sides. He tells stories that are suppose to be funny. The funny part is his laugh. We laugh along. Christmas day comes. Family arrives. They see me, they see a new face. They seem to avoid an introduction. I find that strange. We turn on the television. Julia Child's is on the screen. She is speaking in her horrible accent. She is teaching some horrible cooking recipe. I'm watching lamb curry. I'm watching people go by. I'm watching my life... I'm watching what my christmas is. I'm watching and watching and watching. Finally hours later we leave. Am I relieved? Yes! Time for normal... time for boring.

Sake Sake Sake Bomb

I sit here. I listen to him breath. I walked him home. He put his weight on my body. I took it with no complaint. He yelled. He cursed. Why do I bother? I love him I guess. I shower him. I watch him. I'm afraid he might fall. I lie him to bed. I take my blanket. I sleep on the couch. Come back to check, he's asleep on the floor. So I sit here... I listen to him breath. I wonder... I dream... I drift into what I wish was real. My mind floats away. I need to sleep I need to dream. Dream of better things. Better ways. Better days. Better cocoa butter rays. Poetic Snoetic... Might as well be Joenetic. Would not could not. Fix his mother fucking box. I ruin a friendship I have no control of. I'm conspicuous. Why now. Why make me look like a cow? Fuck off you mother fucking ox in the shape of a fox. Rules? What rules? We live by no rules. We write by no rules! We only think and speak.

(Edited)

Wedding tomorrow! Or should I say today. I'm excited becuse for once I feel like the people getting married should be. It's not gonna be all awkward and ooo hey were just here because you invited us. I feel like its gonna be a celebration of two amazing people that really belong together. I guess this is what weddings are really for. Unlike the ones I'm use to. People getting pregnant or just want to have sex and their religious reasons. Lame. I know I want to marry my little emacarooni (lovers call eachother gay names like that right? This one might stick it has a nice eeewwwie lame-ness too it and makes me want to scrunch my nose and kiss Eric's cheek.) I tell Eric his new nick name all he has to say is "Oh, no!" which I was expecting or the classic "O, God." -Eric Justin Mcdoodliepants.
